Password for "trusted.certs" - Java User Keystore
What is the default password for the Java user-level trusted certificate keystore: "trusted.certs"? I want to open it with "keytool" commands.
✍: FYIcenter.com
The default password for the Java user-level trusted certificate keystore "trusted.certs" is blank: "". Try the following "keytool" command:
C:\Users\fyicenter>"\Program Files\java\jre7\bin\keytool" -list -storepass "" -keystore \Users\fyicenter\AppData\LocalLow\Sun\Java\Deployment\security\trusted.certs Keystore type: JKS Keystore provider: SUN Your keystore contains 2 entries my_cert, Jul 15, 2012, trustedCertEntry, Certificate fingerprint (SHA1): 84:BB:46:36:12:75:9F:7C:02:BF:3B:D1:FA:83:74:4C: 58:2D:5D:81 deploymentusercert-5585756856320897593, Jul 15, 2012, trustedCertEntry, Certificate fingerprint (SHA1): 9C:53:B1:A4:16:F9:58:79:1B:DA:D0:28:A9:FA:5D:65: 4C:5F:81:52
Note that the last entry in "trusted.certs" keystore file is the "www.facebook.com" certificate I imported earlier using "Java Control Panel".
