Website without Certificate in Microsoft Edge
Why am I not getting the properties icon on some Websites in Microsoft Edge? I see the exclamation icon next to the Website address.
✍: FYIcenter.com
If you are visiting a Website that is using HTTP protocol with a certificate,
Microsoft Edge will display the exclamation icon instead the properties icon.
If you click on the exclamation icon, you see the "Your connection to this site isn't secure" warning message and additional informaiton.
The following example shows you that the localhost Website is running without any certificate.
Your connection to this site isn't secure Don't enter any sensitive information on this site (for example, passwords or credit cards). It could be stolen by attackers. Permission for this site Tracking prevention for this site (Balanced)
If you click the arrow icon next to the "Your connection to this site isn't secure" warning message, you see more information displayed.
This site does not hava a certificate. Because this connection is not secure, information (such as passwords or credit cards) will not be securely sent to this site and may be intercepted or seen by others.
